She is the kind of person that You can reach out to morning, noon, or night, and she will pray you thru whatever is troubling you. I Am better today because of her wise counsel, I am sooo blessed to have such a wonderful person in my life that can pull me out of a hole that sometimes I do not realize that I was in until she counsels me. I would recommend her services to anyone that needs counseling, I have made great strides in my life. Because of her anxiety is a thing of the past.

There was a time in my life when Roman 7:21, was my story, “I find then a law, that, when I would do good, evil is present with me.” In a dark place, Pastor Valarie with the leading of the Holy Spirit gave me a road map for change and in times when I went left and the map she provided said go right, Pastor Valerie gave me truth, she never judged and what I needed the most she provided which was never giving up on me. Pastor Valerie’s knowledge, wisdom and compassion has left a permanent imprint on my heart and has played an intricate part of my development in becoming the successful woman of God I am today. Many said they cared and many gave instruction but no one stayed until the change in me manifested but Pastor Valerie did and for this, I am grateful.

Valerie has counseled me off and on, over the course of many years, however, last year was a very dark time for me, so I sought her counsel again. I was in a great deal of physical pain due to multiple back surgeries. I was hurting both mentally and physically due to a toxic marriage. I was certain that I would not make it through. Valerie combined her counseling skills and her knowledge of Christ to walk me through the dark places in my life. I have since left my marriage, moved back to my home state of Ohio and I am intentional in my healing. I have come so far over this past year and Valerie was a huge factor in where I am now in this process. I am forever thankful to her.

Pastor Valerie Travis. Spiritual leader, friend, and counselor. There is no explanation to explain the heart she has for mental health of individuals. Through her counsel, I learned that my mental health is essential to my physical as well as spiritual health. She listens, and the advice she gives is biblical, but at the same time practical. You know that the healing you are after is within reach and not pie in the sky. When she is counseling, you are her focus, the individual. I owe her so much for the time she has taken with me and the love and compassion she has shown.
